Boy Gets Shinji Okazakis Malaga In Post Weeks After The Striker Left The Club
TOO LATE: A wonderful gift but no longer applicable

AN English father tried to spoil his son by posting him a replica Shinji Okazaki Malaga CF shirt, but the striker left the club after such a short period that the boy ended up receiving it after the player had left.

Joseph Wilson’s father, Simon Wilson, gave his son the sport shirt for his sixth birthday, ordering it online, but the Japanese striker left the La Liga side just four weeks later, signing for SD Huesca.

Simon posted on social media: “Joseph’s birthday today!  Unfortunately, I ordered this before the contract debacle He still loves it though and may wear it to the game this evening.”

Indeed the boy and his father took the top to Leicester’s game and uploaded it to social media.

Then, brilliantly, Okazaki saw the post and sent Joseph some birthday wishes.

Malaga CF cited financial reasons for the exit of the Premier League-winning player.
