Five arrested after three men thrown out of van on motorway in Spain’s Andalucia

FIVE people have been arrested after three men, one of whom was dead, were thrown out of a van on a motorway near Sevilla. 

The three men were dumped in the gutter of the A-480 motorway, near the exit to the coastal town of Rota.

Security forces believe the three men were involved in a shooting which took place earlier. 

Police subsequently arrested one person, believed to be connected to the shooting, in Sevilla following a police chase.

Another four men, all foreign nationals, were arrested on the A-66 motorway after security forces intercepted the van. 

The two surviving men are being treated in hospital in Cadiz for serious injuries.
