Costa Blanca cancer charity in urgent appeal to help reach milestone figure

CARING expats have sent out a request for prizes and donations to Costa Blanca community in bid to bring their total raised to €500,000.

Since 2010, Maria Wilson and her Playa Flamenca based charity, The Pink Ladies, have raised almost €456,000 and are well on their way to making the big half million.

DOZENS INVOLVED: Orihuela Costa ‘Walk For Life’ in June

In June of this year, they held their tenth ‘Walk For Life’ on the Orihuela Costa, which raised thousands of euros towards cancer screening and cancer awareness.

Maria spoke to The Olive Press, and stressed the need for continued support, “Even if someone can come along donate one prize or spend a euro guessing the name of our bear, it helps us and it helps to ease suffering”.
