MISSING: Fears for Irish dad with dementia after he disappears from Spain’s Costa del Sol

MISSING: Duncan

AN Irishman who suffers from dementia and epilepsy has disappeared from the Costa del Sol.

Duncan Crozier-Shaw, 67, was on holiday when he vanished from the El Corte Ingles in Mijas Costa yesterday.

He was last seen wearing a pink polo shirt with green stripes (as pictured) and sunglasses.

His son Geoff said in an appeal: “He has been missing from the El Cortes Ingles Shopping complex in Costa Mijas since 11.30am local time on Wednesday the September 11.”

Duncan Crozier-Shaw had been holidaying on the Costa del Sol and his family are worried he may be disorientated or confused.

Duncan has now missed doses of his medication.

The family has appealed for anyone with information to contact local police or the Irish Embassy in Madrid.

“The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade is aware of the case and is providing consular assistance,” a spokesperson for the department confirmed.
