A TOTAL of 10 new flights have been announced from the UK to Spain.
Airline Alba Star will run the routes in partnership with travel agent JetsGo Holidays.
All new flights run from Durham Tees Valley Airport on Teesside to Palma de Mallorca Airport.
Prices vary, but a package deals with JetsGo Holidays start from around £349 (€388) per person.
The first flight will take off on July 19 2020, and services will then run for 10 weeks.
The new flights, which are the first from the UK airport in seven years will arrive just in time for the school holidays.
Tees Valley Mayor Ben Houchen said: “When kids break up for their summer holidays, families won’t have the slog to Manchester, Leeds or Newcastle to get a great value break.
“They’ll be able to jet off to Spain from Teesside for the first time in seven years.”

Palma de Mallorca Airport is the third busiest in Spain, with 25 million passengers a year.
