A TARDY Murcia lawyer who sped to a trial was arrested in court by police agents testifying in the same case.
The man, whose name has not been released, was detected by the Guardia Civil’s traffic unit driving at a ‘frightening speed’ on the motorway.
A helicopter chased him to Yecla’s Palace of Justice, where the man had also parked his car ‘badly’, according to La Opinion de Murcia.
Police are assuming the lawyer was late to the case, which itself concerned a traffic accident the previous September.
He was arrested on suspicion of crime against road safety in front of those present in the trial.
