Open date REVEALED for ‘deliberately torched’ Marbella chiringuito originally opened by Eva Longoria

A CHIRINGUITO burnt down in an arson attack is to reopen this week.

Playa Padre, which was opened by American actress Eva Longoria, was deliberately torched in February.

Now, after a huge refurb, the beach bar will reopen this Thursday, one of its owners told the Olive Press.

“The style of the building is the same, but it’s more open-plan,” he explained.

“We are just waiting for the town hall to finally OK it.”

The restaurant is part owned by Maria Bravo, the friend of Longoria.

Dramatic footage showed the beach club, which is popular with expats, erupt into flames in February, with black smoke billowing for miles.
