AND they’re off!

British residents along the Costas have begun making their way to Madrid ahead of tomorrow’s historic Champions League final.

Pete Bennett, 59, is already on the road with his best pal John, both from Wallasey, and his three sons.

One of the sons, Jack, flew into Malaga airport for the match this morning.

“Their excitement level is off the bloody scale,” revealed Pete’s wife Debbie, who saw them off from Marbella.

“I swear their Indie Bus has wings!”

The lads have hired a camper van and booked a camp site outside the city as the accommodation was too expensive.

“They don’t have tickets but want to be where the action is and have even made their own flag,” added Debbie.

“Peter has followed Liverpool from an early age, going to as many games as possible.

“He went to Anfield for the semi final this month and said it was up there as the best game of his life.”
