A STUDY into what turns the world’s population on has revealed striking differences between different regions.
Dating app Jaumo, which analysed more than 24 million Google searches over a year-long period, found that 22% of Brits searched for ‘doggy style’ content when looking for porn.
It was a higher percentage share than any of the other 20-plus countries analysed.
The sexual position was also a hit in close neighbours Belgium and Germany, with google searches for the genre totalling 21% and 20% respectively.
In the English-speaking world as a whole, however, ‘threesome’ was the most popular search term.
But in the Latin world, cuckolding reigned supreme, arousing the interest of 37% of porn watchers in Brazil, 31% in Spain, and 29% and 27% in Argentina and Mexico respectively.
Cuckolding is when a man watches his partner have sex with someone else and gets aroused.
Going east and more towards the Middle East, the study showed a large increase in searches for anal sex.
The most interested in this genre was Turkey, with 49% of porn watchers searching the term, followed by Poland and Greece, both on 32%.
“We were interested to see which sex-related terms people commonly search for in different countries, so we looked at five words related to sex, including threesome, cuckold, anal sex, spanking and doggy,” Jaumo said.
“The results gave an interesting insight into sexual preferences across the globe.
“We found that conventional threesome is still among the most searched sex terms in English speaking countries, while cuckoldry was more searched in the Spanish speaking world.
“German interest is equally spread, with as many people searching for spanking as doggy, whereas the Portuguese were more likely to search for anal sex, threesome and cuckold. Meanwhile, Italians showed a clear interest in cuckoldry.”
