LIVERPOOL’S Roberto Firmino has landed in Marbella after boarding a €23 million private jet.
The Brazilian forward, 27, arrived in the exclusive city ahead of his teammates, in a bid to overcome his groin injury for the Champions League final.
He was spotted at the Marbella Football Center in San Pedro over the weekend training with the club’s strength and rehabilitation assistant David Rydings.
It comes days after him and wife Larissa Pereira posted pictures of themselves lounging by the pool and posing in front of the Embraer Legacy 650 aircraft parked on the runway.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp and the rest of the squad are set to fly out to the Costa del Sol today.
They are likely to join Firmino at the Marbella Football Center, where Klopp took his players 12 months ago for their last Champions League title bid against Real Madrid in Kiev.
This time, the Reds are set to face Tottenham on June 1 in Madrid at the Wanda Metropolitano stadium.
Meanwhile Spurs’ preparations for the final are taking place in the UK, but manager Mauricio Pochettino has said his side will fly out the capital a few days before the match.
