THE body of a woman has washed up in a port in southern Spain.
Police said the woman is aged between 50 and 60 years old and her corpse had not been in the water for long, and was not in a state of decomposition.
A passerby found her at the breakwater of the port of Atunara in La Linea on Monday at 2:50pm.
Policia Local, Policia Nacional and Guardia Civil officers were all alerted to the incident.
An autopsy is currently being carried out to determine the woman’s cause of death.
