DAVID Beckham has spoken of his special affection for Madrid after returning to Spain’s capital for a stylish fashion launch.
The former England international returned to the city he called home for four years to promote luxury Swiss watch brand TUDOR.
The style icon appeared at the VP Plaza España Design hotel in a dark suit with a mottled green tie, a blue pocket square completed the look.
“Great night in Madrid, it is always a pleasure to return to this beautiful city, ” remarked the forty-three-year-old.
Beckham is reported to have taken the opportunity to dine at his favourite restaurant in Madrid, the award-winning Asador Donostiarra.
It comes as the former footballer completed his first free dive in open water as part of his ‘Born To Dare’ campaign with TUDOR.
“It is about putting yourself in situations where you face challenge, which I like. Most of the time these situations bring out the best in me.”
Beckham had to conquer his fear of open water as he completed the free drive under the guidance of French World Champion Free diver Morgan Bourc’his.
