SPICE Girl Mel C will DJ in Gibraltar this summer it has been announced.
The Lancashire-born pop princess, 45, will be spinning tunes at the Gibraltar Calling Festival on September 8.
Sporty Spice will host the Club MTV after-party once fellow 90s British heartthrobs Take That have performed their headline set.
The mother-of-one, singer-turned DJ and BBC Radio 2 host will be fresh off the back of the Spice World 2019 Tour, which concludes in London in June.
Fellow Spice Girls Mel B, Emma Bunton and Geri Horner all join her for the reunion prior to her Rock set, while Victoria Beckham is unavailable due to other commitments.
Mel’s latest DJ appearance was in London at the end of April, where she jumped on the decks for a Maybelline cosmetics party.
After shooting to fame with the Spice Girls’ 1996 hit Wannabe, which was number one in 37 countries, she moved on to solo performance, acting, TV and songwriting.
She has written 11 UK number ones, more than any other female artist in chart history, and was even nominated for an Olivier Award for her role in Blood Brothers.
This year’s festival has moved to Europa Point Leisure Complex and takes place from September 7 – 8 with tickets available here from £75.
Singer Tom Walker will also perform, with most acts still to be announced.
