AN unexploded bomb has been found at a finca in Andalucia.

Policia Nacional were called to the farm house in Antequera on Wednesday after the owner discovered a shell half-buried in the property’s courtyard.

Police cordoned off the area around the bomb, which has now been identified as a howitzer from the Civil War era, before a specialist bomb squad arrived.

The crack team decided the bomb was in an ‘inert state’ and no longer contained an explosive charge.

The bomb, found in a small town called La Joya, has been safely removed.
