Pensioner, 75, dies after overturning car on Spain’s Costa del Sol

A 75-YEAR-OLD man has died this morning after overturning his car on the Costa del Sol. 

The unnamed man was driving on the A-7 in Velez-Malaga in the direction of Almeria when he lost control of his vehicle and overturned in the hard shoulder.

The 112 emergency service was alerted to the accident at around 6.30am by a traveller in a passing car.

Firefighters, Guardia Civil and paramedics rushed to the scene at kilometre 271.

The man had to be cut out of the car but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
