A GUARDIA Civil officer and two of his kids have been arrested for money laundering.
The family trio were arrested in Estepona on the Costa del Sol, where the cop was on leave.
He had previously been arrested for similar crimes while working in the Port of Algeciras.
The Internal Affairs Unit of the Benemerita developed a money laundering operation against the cop, according to a Guardia Civil source.
The arrest was made by the officer’s colleagues on Wednesday.
The public official, who is actually based in Ciudad Real, is now awaiting trial, according to the source.
