TWO Brits have been arrested after four people were stabbed in Benidorm last night.

The shocking incident saw a fight from a club on the resort’s  main strip spill out onto the street before four people were knifed and left in a ‘serious condition’.

Two of the victims are believed to work for a bar popular with tourists on Calle Mallorca.

The two British men arrested are aged 20 and 21 and will most likely appear in a private court hearing today or tomorrow.

Policia Nacional said today: “Two men have been arrested over a stabbing incident in Benidorm last night around 10.30pm.

“They are both British and aged 20 and 21.

“Two people, workers at the place where the incident happened, suffered what appeared to be stab wounds.”

Benidorm Holidays Ltd wrote on social media last night: “At this time Benidorm Strip has been closed and sealed of due to a serious Stabbing attack.

“Early reports are suggesting four people have been hurt.”

The company later added: ” There at this time has been NO confirmed deaths as yet, the main Strip is not sealed off now, but people are still seriously hurt. Soon as we can confirm more we will.”

One witness said: “I was here tonight and seen it all was horrific.”
