FOUR people have reportedly been stabbed in a shocking attack in southern Spain.
According to the Sun Online, victims are believed to be in a serious condition after being knifed in the popular resort of Benidorm.
The stabbings are believed to have taken place after a fight broke out close to the beach.
Police have not yet revealed if any Britons were involved.
There are also reports that two men, believed to be Scottish, have fled the scene, although this has not been confirmed.
Benidorm Holidays Ltd wrote on Facebook last night: “At this time Benidorm Strip has been closed and sealed due to a serious stabbing attack.
“Early reports are suggesting four people have been hurt.”
It added at 12.30am: “There at this time has been NO confirmed deaths as yet, the main strip is not sealed off now but people are seriously hurt.”
Local paper Hola Benidorm reported that two of the injured were working in a bar popular with tourists.
Witnesses described the scene as ‘horrific’ and claimed the fight started inside the club before spilling out onto the strip.
