THIS is the heartbreaking moment a dog was filmed whimpering next to the rails of a dog shelter in Spain.
The 30-second clip shows a passerby stroking the dog as it wails and shakes in a clear state of distress.
The video, filmed at the Son Reus Perrera shelter in Mallorca, was uploaded by Gabriela Petrova yesterday and has already received more than 10,000 views.
“If you are outraged by the reality of Son Reus, help us improve the conditions for these animals,” the receptionist, from Palma de Mallorca wrote.
“You have to go to the town hall and put in a complaint to put roofs in the cages because the dogs get wet all the time with this f***ing cold!”
“Son Reus told me that that there is no money to put in a roof.”
The Olive Press reached out to the shelter for a comment but no one was available for comment.
