THIS is the moment a local allegedly captured raw sewage flowing straight onto a popular beach in southern Spain.

The 30-second clip was recorded in Tarifa and shows what appears to be wastewater running onto the beach.

The video was uploaded by Facebook group Salvar Tarifa late last night and already has thousands of views.

“Tarifa, a place with such international appeal, simply can not have one of the most polluted beaches in Europe,” the post reads.

“Mayor Galindo, you are the worst manager of the ‘intangible heritage’ of Tarifa.”

Locals commented on the video branding it a ‘disgrace’ and ’embarrassing’.

“INCREDIBLE,” one wrote, “spend what you have to spend and get whoever does it to do it, but sort it out now!

“This has long been out of hand and I fear it will be impossible to recover this area of the beach. .. what a pity.”

Another added: “What a disgrace that this has still not been regulated!”

Tarifa, on the Costa de la Luz, has one of the longest stretches of beach in Spain and is hugely popular for surfers thanks to its strong winds.
