Earthquake rocks residents in Spain’s Andalucia

AN earthquake has rocked residents in southern Spain. 

Measuring 3.5 on the Richter scale, the tremor prompted numerous calls to the 112 Andalucia Emergency Services across Cadiz and Sevilla yesterday afternoon.

The calls came after, according to the National Geographic Institute, the quake struck in Cadiz, with the epicentre having since been traced to Puerto Serrano.

No personal or material damage has been reported.

The earthquake occurred at 4:15pm at a depth of two kilometres.
