A GIBRALTAR man has fallen to his death from the upper floor of Sea Shell House this morning.
Kyle Azzopardi, 31, was pronounced dead after police attended the incident at the Beach View Terraces apartment at about 8am.
Police have confirmed they are ‘investigating the circumstances surrounding the death,’ but added that ‘at this time no foul play is suspected.’
Azzopardi’s family has been told of the tragic news and police urged the public to be respectful.
The police said: “We urge the general public to respect the family, friends and their grieving process and be mindful of any images and/or commentary they post on social media.”
This latest tragedy comes just weeks after the death of 25 year old Michael Buckley, who also fell from an upper floor flat on the Rock, just two kilometres away, at the Eurotowers housing development.
An unnamed 43 year old Brit, who is a resident of the Rock, was arrested for Buckley’s murder on September 9, but has since been released after police confirmed there was no foul play.
