A BRITISH woman has been filmed swinging at a Spanish protestor on the Gibraltar border.

The clip shows the Mercedes-driving woman stop her car before getting out and lunging at a Spaniard who was one of hundreds waving Spanish flags and marching alongside police.

The protestors are part of police union Jusapol, which represents hundreds of Policia Nacional and Guardia Civil agents.

They are calling for pay increases after what they described as ’30 years of abandonment’.

The march started in La Linea at around 11am before reaching the Gibraltar border and causing severe delays.

A similar march is planned for Malaga on August 25.

Police are crying foul after ‘suffering’ from a lack of personnel and resources in the wake of increased drug smuggling activity.
