Costa del Sol forest fire stabilised

THE forest fire which broke out on the A-7 near Torremolinos has been stabilised.

According to INFOCA, firefighters are still working to control some of the flames but most of the fire has been put out.

It comes after traffic was brought to a standstill at around 2pm today when the flames first broke out.

Some 21 firefighters and aircraft were scrambled to tackle the blaze.
