IT’S been a long time coming.

After one of the wettest springs for years and months of cold winds, summer is arriving to the Costa del Sol.

According to Accuweather, temperatures on the coast will steadily climb this week, from 25C today, to around 26C on Tuesday and Wednesday, before reaching 30C on Thursday.

The weekend will be a scorcher, with temperatures passing the 30C mark.

Estepona and Manilva will both see the mercury hit 31C on Saturday and a blistering 34C on Sunday.

Marbella will reach 28C on Saturday and 29C on Sunday.

Benalmadena will reach 30C on Saturday and Sunday.
