TWO cement plant workers have been arrested after the Guardia Civil found they tried to hoard cocaine meant for destruction.

Last Friday agents transported the substance to the factory as requested by court order.

However, the workers at the plant in Jerez tried to save the 18 kilos of cocaine by manipulating the entrance of the furnace.

The case currently remains active with further arrests not ruled out.
