A NORTHERN Irish tourist has died while holidaying in Spain.

Aaron Henderson, from Coleraine, died during a family holiday to Magaluf.

According to the Belfast Telegraph, he died on Monday after suffering serious head injuries, although the cause of death has not yet been confirmed.

East Londonderry MLA Maurice Bradley offered his condolences to the family.

“This is devastating news,” he told Causeway Coast Community News.

“Aaron was a well-known young man, a keen Coleraine fan, he was well liked by his peers and known by customers to the family business.

“My thoughts go to Aaron’s partner and his entire family circle.”

The Foreign and Commonwealth Office has reportedly said that it was supporting the family.
