THE BRITISH Ambassador to Spain, Simon Manley, has been handed a prestigious award from the province of Malaga.
Ambassador Manley won the Distinction of Honour of the Province of Malaga yesterday for his efforts in promoting the Costa del Sol as a tourist destination following the Brexit announcement.
Since becoming Ambassador in 2013, he has been greatly praised for maintaining a good relationship between the UK and Spain.
Speaking of the award, the Ambassador added that the existing relationship between Brits and Malaguenos has secured the Costa del Sol ‘in the hearts of the British, not only now but forever’.
