WATCH: Final downpour of rain on Spain’s Costa del Sol before week of sun and highs of 24C arrive

TORRENTIAL rain has taken over the Costa del Sol this morning in a final lashing before a week of sun begins.

According to AEMET and the Weather Channel, the sun will be out in full force across Andalucia from tomorrow and will last at least 10 days.

AEMET has predicted highs of 21 to 24 degrees in hotspots, such as Marbella, Velez-Malaga and Benalmadena.

It comes after an incredibly wet Spring, which has seen reservoirs become almost 100% full with most towns having enough water to last for two years.
