WATCH: Dramatic moment British tourist airlifted from cruise ship by helicopter off coast of Spain

THIS is the moment a sick British tourist was airlifted from a P&O cruise ship 130 miles from the Spanish coast.

The Maritime Safety and Rescue Society of Spain dispatched the helicopter after receiving notice that a  tourist had taken ill during the night 209 kilometres (130 miles) from the  A Coruna, Galicia.

The unnamed man, a British and Irish national, was rushed to a nearby hospital after landing.
