BRRR! Cold comes back to Malaga as temperatures drop by 10C

rain in spain

FOLLOWING  an unusually warm weekend for this time of year, temperatures will drop today and tomorrow by almost 10C.

According to weather agency AEMET, Friday will be the coldest day of the week, with minimum temperatures of 9C and maximums of 15.

It comes after a 24C weekend that saw keen beachgoers dip their toes in the sea for the first time in 2018.

It will be less cold on Saturday but it will not replicate last weekend, which experts said was more typical of April weather.

The new cold front is thanks to a northerly wind, which will reach 25km/hr and may bring some light rain to Antequera and the Axarquia.
