DESPACITO was the most listened to song in Spain for 2017, it has been revealed.
According to Spotify, the Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee hit of the summer beat out big hitters Ed Sheeran and Shakira to nab the ‘most streamed’ spot.
Second place went to Me Rehuso by Danny Ocean, followed by Shape of You by British star Sheeran. Felicos los 4 by Maluma and Subeme La Radio by Enrique Iglesias filled out the top five.
Despacito was such a hit that the original and remix sat in second and third place on the global streaming rankings, while Ed Sheeran’s Shape of You took first place.
