WALKOUT: New Year Strikes could affect hundreds of flights and thousands of British holidaymakers

A RYANAIR passenger forced his way out of a plane using the emergency exit, while it was sat on the tarmac at Malaga airport.

The man, reported to be a 57-year-old Polish national, ended up sitting on the wing of flight FR8164 with his hand luggage.

He was eventually talked into getting back on board by ground staff and held until he was arrested by local police.

Reports of the man having an asthma attack and saying that he ‘needed air’ have surfaced.

However, follow passengers have stated that he seemed to have been frustrated after the plane was delayed leaving Stansted by almost an hour on New Year’s Day.

“Malaga airport police immediately arrested the passenger in question and since this was a breach of Spanish safety and security regulations, it is being dealt with by the Spanish authorities.”
