Special spa day raises hundreds for food kitchen for the homeless in Malaga

A SPECIAL spa day has raised €815 for a food kitchen in Malaga.

The event was held at Las Orquideas hotel in Los Romanes offering massages and other relaxing treatments to raise money for food kitchen Los Angeles de la Noche.

The kitchen feeds around 800 people, three meals a day, seven days week, bringing more than 2000 Christmas dinners to the homeless.

Eleven local therapists and beauticians took part, specialising in a wide-range of treatments and over the years have raised €5,000 for the kitchen.
