MALLORCA will host a major international conference on traditional dry-stone building ahead of a UNESCO World Heritage bid.

Experts in the technique will gather in Palma for the workshop from October 26-29.
A joint bid by European countries, including Spain, has been launched to have the technique recognised.
Dry-stone building has continued in Mallorca into the 21st century, with a Wallers School teaching new generations of craftsmen the ancient building skill.
