WEATHERMEN have warned of a continued heatwave across Spain from today.

Temperatures are expected to reach 40C or above in and around Andalucia’s Granada.

Sevilla, Badajoz and Cordoba will reach 42C.

Some 15 provinces are on orange alert, with the heatwave expected to last all weekend.

Storms are also predicted for Jaen and Granada over the weekend.

Temperatures along the coast will reach into the 30s, staying cooler thanks to coastal winds.
