SUMMER IS COMING: Andalucia braces for the heat as temperatures reach 36C

SUMMER weather is returning to Andalucia this weekend.

Temperatures have already soared in areas like Sevilla, with highs of 36C today.

The Costa del Sol is expected to reach temperatures of around 32C over the weekend as warm southerly winds are forecast from tomorrow.

Spain’s weather agency AEMET has warned of high UV levels from today until Sunday, advising sunseekers to remain in the shade between 2-5pm and to drink plenty of water.

 

Laurence Dollimore

Laurence Dollimore is a Spanish-speaking, NCTJ-trained journalist with almost a decade’s worth of experience.
