SPAIN will host southern EU members to discuss the UK’s negotiations to leave the bloc.
Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy and the leaders of France, Italy, Portugal, Greece, Cyprus and Malta will meet on April 10 at the El Pardo Palace outside of Madrid.
In an announcement made today, Rajoy’s office said: “The main goal of this meeting is to discuss all the work that is being carried out to have good Brexit negotiations.”
There are 27 members of the EU, so what is this breakaway group of seven up to? Will all the other members heed anything the Magnificent Seven decree?
