Beach closed after shark spotted on Costa del Sol

shark finA BEACH in Fuengirola was closed yesterday following a shark sighting. 

Lifeguards at Gali Gali beach evacuated the waters and emptied the beach as a safety precaution after spotting a baby shark.

The lifeguards decided to close the beach amid fears that adult sharks may be swimming nearby.

The beach is expected to be reopened today.

 

Earlier this month, a shark attack on the Costa Blanca left a swimming needing surgery on his hand.
