MORE than 800 military weapons have been seized at Algeciras port.
A total of 737 assault rifles and 72 rocket launchers were intercepted by the Guardia Civil during a routine container check.
The weapons, believed to be Swiss made, arrived in Algeciras on a container from Ghana and were due to be shipped to the US.
The news of the seizure comes just a day after it was announced that 350 kilos of cocaine had been found at the port.
