AN app has been launched for expats and holidaymakers to contact the police.

AlertCops allows the user to alert police of criminal acts or incidents in their own language.

It allows users to send an alert directly from their mobile in order to be served quickly and efficiently.

It also grants access to services for people with communication disabilities.

Users can report crimes including robbery, vandalism, assault, general violence, and loss or theft and can even chat with emergency responders.
