Hamilton RosbergMECHANICS at Mercedes have been working in overdrive since Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg crashed in last month’s Spanish Grand Prix.

The team has been forced to inspect 1,200 parts of its Formula One car following the collision on the first corner at the Catalunya track.

Rosberg has subsequently taken the blame for the collision yet F1 rules state that each part of the car must be inspected for safety reasons.

Any part deemed safe will be salvaged and used to put both cars back together.
