THE trial of a Slovakian model accused of shooting dead her ex-boyfriend in Estepona began this morning.
Mayka Marica Kukucova, 26, is accused of shooting 48-year-old Andrew Bush on April 5, 2014, a month after they broke up.
It is alleged she shot him three times when he arrived home with his new Russian girlfriend.
Her defence team says Bush confronted her with a gun, and that it went off after the two struggled.
The jury selection is currently taking place in a Malaga courtroom.
Bush owned a jewellery store in Britain before moving to Spain, earning the nickname Mr Bling.
The trial is expected to last three days.
