salmonella

salmonellaHEALTH officials have closed a Cadiz bar after over 60 people fell ill from possible salmonella poisoning and one man died.

There have been widespread reports of salmonella poisoning across carnival revellers, many of whom ate tortilla at centrally-located bar Grimaldi, during the carnival on Saturday February 6.

The post mortem will reveal whether it was a coincidence that the 26-year-old man, who had an existing heart condition, died shortly after visiting the bar.
