A HUGE drug consignment has been seized by police.
The 850-kilo hash haul was discovered on two boats near San Roque.
A police helicopter spotted one of the boats about to offload the bales of drugs close to the beach at Punta Carbonera.
The smugglers fled in SUVs after being discovered.
That’s an odd way to finish an article? If the police helicopter saw the smugglers driving off in SUV’s, then I’d have thought they could have easily radioed their colleagues on the ground to arrange a road block or whatever to catch the people. The article just ends by saying they were seen to flee. What about the chase (if there was one) & were the SUV’s stopped? Or did the airborne police simply wave BiBi?
