babyAN 11-month-old baby in Spain has been diagnosed with scurvy.

Doctors have linked the rare disease to the baby’s almond milk-only diet.

Currently under observation at the Universitari i Politecnic La Fe hospital in Valencia, doctors expect the baby to make a full recovery.

Scurvy can be caused by a lack of vitamin C, it is often found in children with restrictive diets such as those with autism.
