One dead and eight injured in head-on crash near Teba

ONE German man has died and eight other people were injured – one critically – after a head on crash between a car and a minibus on a straight section of the A367 near Teba.

The driver of the Mercedes car that was carrying four Germans died at the scene.

Another occupant, a 30-year-old man was released by the emergency services and flown to the Carlos Haya hospital in Malaga in a critical condition.

Seven Japanese nationals were travelling in the minibus that was also involved in the accident.

The other casualties were treated at the scene before being transferred to the hospital in Ronda.
