VIDEO: Spanish PM Mariano Rajoy punched in face by attacker during election walkabout

SPAIN’S Prime Minister has been assaulted by a young man during an election campaigning walkabout in the centre of Pontevedra.

The man approached Mariano Rajoy with the excuse of asking for a picture and then turned and punched the leader of the PP party in the face.

Police arrested the protestor at the scene.
