Redstart head-start

THE Royal Navy has been on a special operation in Gibraltar; bird ringing.

Here, twitchers have captured three redstarts, recognizable from their reddish tails.

The Royal Naval Birdwatching Society is open to all serving or former personnel, and undertakes regular excursions throughout Europe.
