Two vultures killed by Guadalteba wind turbines

dead-vultures-guadaltebaENVIRONMENTALISTS are up in arms after two vultures were killed by wind turbines in Malaga.

Ecologist group Ecologistas en Accion has denounced a wind farm in Guadalteba after the birds were discovered dead on site.

They are complaining that preventive measures were not in place to avoid this type of โ€˜catastropheโ€™.

An estimated 95% of Europeโ€™s vulture population is in Spain.
